Coaltown of Wemyss, Village Hall

 Our vision is for the hall to be run by local people, for local people—offering a wide range of activities, events, and opportunities that bring residents together, foster connections, and enrich community life. By creating a welcoming space that reflects the needs and interests of everyone, we aim to ensure the hall becomes a place where friendships grow, ideas flourish, and the whole community benefits. Our project directly supports the Community Planning priority of community-led services by ensuring that the village hall is managed and operated by local residents. This approach empowers the community to take ownership of the space, make decisions that reflect local needs, and deliver activities and events that are meaningful to them.
